User name and password
All students at Kristianstad University need an account to use the university's IT resources.
Some of these resources are:
- Access to the computers labs
- Itslearning for distance learning courses that use this platform (www.hkr.se/itslearning)
- "My study info" to see including registrations and results (www.student.hkr.se)
- Wireless access to their own computer to the University's IT resources and the Internet. Wireless access on campus in Kristianstad and Hässleholm. (www.hkr.se/instructions VPN and Wireless network)
Your login details
If you're a new student at HKR sent login information to you in good time before the semester starts. They sent in the first instance by e-mail, if you have entered an email address in the application, in the alternative, by regular mail. By using your login information, you agree to follow the rules for use of the University's IT resources.
If you have studied at HKR the past two years, use the login information you already have. If you can not remember your details and never changed your password, you can order them again on https://studentkonto.hkr.se/order/. Page is encrypted for secure communication, therefore you must accept / install the certificate requested alternatively proceed despite your browser warnings.
If you have changed your password at least once and can not remember the details you can change password at https://pwreset.hkr.se.
Notice that you need an updated e-mail address at https://www.universityadmissions.se.

Software for download
The agreements currently in force between software companies and Kristianstad University sometimes gives students the opportunity to download and use certain products at home. The cost is usually no or very discounted. Common to all offers are only online support is available for use. Please study the license terms a little extra, they generally differ from commercial terms.
Installation and use of these applications and websites are not covered by support from HKRs IT department.

Microsoft DreamSpark (for students)

To download follow the instructions on the page. You will possibly need to log in with the credentials you use to HKR. In general use, free of charge, unless otherwise indicated.

When will I receive my information sent home?
If you are a new student and have been admitted to a course at HKR sent login information to you in good time before the semester starts. They sent in the first instance by e-mail, if you have entered an email address in the application, in the alternative, by regular mail. If you have an address outside of Sweden, you will receive your information through your school or utbildningsansvarig.
Why have not I received any information sent home?
Your account information will not be sent if you have read the HKR the past two years. You can order your data again via the link: https://studentkonto.hkr.se/order/. Page is encrypted for secure communication, therefore you must accept / install the certificate requested alternatively proceed despite your browser warnings.
How long can I use my account?
Your account has been open about a month and a half after the end of the term if you are not admitted to any new training. If you interrupt your studies closes the account.
When delete my account?
Normally, deleted your account about 18 months after you have finished your studies.
I have lost / forgotten my login details. What do I do?
- If you have a Swedish address, you can order your data again via the link: https://studentkonto.hkr.se/order/. Page is encrypted for secure communication. Therefore, you must accept / install the certificate is requested or move on even though your browser may warn of this. The service has a limitation that makes you can not order more often than every 30 days.
- You can contact office at your school. Remember to bring identification.
For safety information is not provided via e-mail or telephone.
My information is not true because I have changed surnames. How do I?
Contact the office for your training to get a new account. Remember to copy your documents/files in your home directory.
